Alfa LavalRikard Egeriis works as Vice President Risk & Compliance at Alfa Laval Group, a global company specializing in heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling. With a background in risk management, compliance and internal audit, Rikard has gained experience in both operational and strategic roles within international organizations. At Alfa Laval, he has contributed to the ongoing development of a qualitative ERM framework, helping to support the company’s growth and transformation in a decentralized setting. During the ERM Days conference, Rikard will share some of the practical lessons and experiences from Alfa Laval’s 140-year history, as well as his own perspective on building risk management capabilities in complex environments.

Professor of Risk Management at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). He holds an MSc in Business Administration from the University of Bern, a PhD in Risk Management from the University of St. Gallen, and a habilitation in Management Sciences from the University of Sopron. From 2015 to 2022, he chaired the Swiss Enterprise Risk Management Association, advising boards across Europe on integrated risk governance and management. As the head of HSLU’s Competence Center for Risk and Compliance Management, he combines empirical research with hands-on consulting. A frequent keynote speaker at international conferences, he translates science into actionable guidance for practitioners.
